White peaches are small to medium-sized stone fruits and are usually round, or oval, depending on the variety. The rind of the fruit is semi-thin, tight, and bruises easily. Its base color is ivory, covered with red and pink and a layer of velvety down. The flesh is soft, tender, and watery and contains a light brown central stone that can be easily separated from the flesh.
White peaches have an aromatic floral scent when ripe and give slightly under pressure. The flesh is low in acidity, which contributes to a mild, sweet, and subtle floral flavor.
